About Us
Eastern Healing is something corwin and ctan began learning about through martial arts. There is a symbiosis between the martial way and the healing way, and the study of either can enhance the understanding and practice of the other. We both began with the martial way, but have begun to balance our practice with the healing arts.
In 2006 we were certified by the Pacific and Asian Restoration Therapies (PART) Institute of Dan Zan Ryu jujitisu. Our healing arts style is known as Okazaki Restorative Therapy, named for Henry Okazaki, the founder of both the healing arts style and danzan ryu jujitsu.
This blog contains our thoughts and things we learn along the way as we practice both the martial way and the healing way.

Hi Cecilia,
hope you’ll remember me from the TKD school- the guy who had the hamstring injury during the test- well I have given it plenty of rest etc.(almost a month), and while it doesn’t hurt during my normal range of motions, it seems that I am still having difficulty with TKD classes. Was wondering if I could book some time with you and try the Okazaki method. I think I prefer that to going to a generic western doc. Please let me know if you have any availability.
thanks,
1Javed Jahangir
Javed, I can definitely work on you and this is an injury I’ve seen a lot of thanks to the many taekwondo folks I see! I’ll drop you an email with some appointment times and we can figure it out.
